Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale mission critical, data center, and commercial electrical construction projects in Indianapolis, IN.
This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through final turnover while ensuring budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and client expectations are achieved. Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and overall execution plans.
- Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Lead meetings with owners, general contractors, engineers, field leadership, and subcontractors.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect schedule and profitability.
- Support commissioning, turnover documentation, and successful project closeout.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Electrical Project Management experience.
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, or mission critical electrical construction projects.
- Data Center construction experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, and project controls.
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
