Expeditor – EAS
Location: High Point, NC
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Expeditor to support our procurement and operations teams by ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are delivered accurately and on schedule. This role serves as the communication hub between suppliers, project managers, warehouse personnel, accounting, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently and minimize supply chain disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor purchase orders from placement through delivery, working directly with suppliers to obtain order updates, confirm shipping dates, expedite critical materials, and proactively resolve potential delays.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Warehouse, Production, and vendors to prioritize material requirements, communicate delivery status, and keep project schedules on track.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, supplier information, procurement reports, and ERP system updates.
- Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and vendor invoices while resolving discrepancies related to deliveries, proof of delivery, receiving records, and invoicing.
- Generate reports on order status, supplier performance, and late deliveries while identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, inventory control, supply chain, or expediting.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience collaborating with vendors, project teams, warehouse personnel, and leadership.
