Job Description

The Safety Inspector supports jobsite safety efforts by assisting with daily inspections, identifying hazards, and helping maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. This is a direct hire, entry-level role ideal for someone looking to grow a career in industrial or construction safety. Candidates must live within a 20–30 minute drive of High Point, NC.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily physical inspections of workspaces, machinery, and equipment to verify safe operating conditions
• Observe field crews and floor personnel for adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use
• Support audits of high-risk tasks requiring specialized permits, including Working at Heights and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or hazards
• Document safety observations and report concerns to supervisors
• Assist with incident reporting and follow-up as needed
• Promote safe work habits and a proactive safety culture among team members

Qualifications:

• Must reside within a 20–30 minute commute of High Point, NC
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0–2 years of industrial, construction, or safety experience preferred
• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 a plus)
• First Aid/CPR/AED/BBP a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow in a safety role
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb industrial ladders, and stand or walk for extended portions of a shift.
