Senior Estimator – Mechanical (Plumbing/Wet Side)

Location: Springville, UT (Utah County)

Salary: DOE $140- $170k+

We are seeking a Senior Estimator with strong experience in mechanical and plumbing (wet side) systems to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This role is critical to driving accurate, competitive bids and partnering cross-functionally with operations and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical/plumbing scopes on projects ranging from $5M to $30M+
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes
• Utilize estimating software (QuoteSoft or similar) to build and manage bids
• Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors
• Support bid reviews, presentations, and handoff to project management

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in mechanical/plumbing construction
• Proven track record estimating projects $5M+ (experience with $30M+ highly preferred)
• Proficiency in QuoteSoft or comparable estimating platforms
• Strong understanding of wet-side systems, codes, and industry standards
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
