Pay: $50–$55+ per hour

Per Diem: $175 per day

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale data center construction project in Turkey, Texas.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing data center, mission-critical, or large industrial construction projects, along with strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee up to four Project Managers. This role will be responsible for managing project execution, financial performance, procurement, subcontractors, scheduling, quality, safety, and closeout.

The Senior Project Manager will work closely with owners, general contractors, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and internal project teams to deliver complex construction work safely, on schedule, and within budget.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead large-scale data center or industrial construction projects from award through completion.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee up to four Project Managers.
  • Provide direction, accountability, and support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the Bid Captain during estimating and project turnover.
  • Participate in estimate reviews and provide constructability recommendations.
  • Identify prefabrication opportunities, improved sequencing, value engineering, and project efficiencies.
  • Develop and execute project planning for office and field operations.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, schedule of values, cost controls, forecasting, and overall project execution.
  • Coordinate preconstruction activities and participate in project planning meetings.
  • Prepare monthly owner pay applications and progress billings.
  • Monitor collections, retainage, cost controls, and overall project financial performance.
  • Select and manage subcontractors and vendors.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and material purchases.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and project resources.
  • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts to identify coordination and constructability concerns.
  • Oversee project quality control and ensure company standards are maintained.
  • Enforce project safety plans and OSHA compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with owners, general contractors, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Support commissioning, turnover, punch-list completion, and project closeout.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10 years of project management experience in commercial, industrial, data center, or mission-critical construction.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale data center, mission-critical, or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and oversee up to four Project Managers.
  • Experience managing complex mechanical construction projects involving HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical, or other industrial systems.
  • Experience managing project teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, procurement, and project financials.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, change management, cost controls, quality control, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
  • Excellent communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Ability to work on-site in Turkey, Texa

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with design-build mechanical construction projects.
