Assistant Project Manager – Mission Critical Construction

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

We are recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to support large-scale mission critical mechanical construction projects supporting hyperscale data center development.

This is a great opportunity for a construction professional looking to grow their career while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on complex projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.

What You’ll Do

• Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction
• Assist with project planning, budgets, schedules, and forecasting
• Coordinate procurement and monitor material deliveries
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
• Track project costs and support monthly financial reporting
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project communications
• Participate in owner, contractor, and project meetings
• Monitor schedules and help identify potential delays
• Support commissioning, closeout, and turnover activities
• Promote a strong safety culture across project teams

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Mission critical or data center experience preferred
• Mechanical contractor experience preferred
• Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or BIM experience is a plus
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
