Description

Seeking experienced commercial electricians to lead projects within a Special Projects Team in Central Virginia.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead and manage commercial electrical projects.
  • Maintain project documentation and customer relationships.
  • Provide direction to electricians and helpers.
  • Perform electrical installation and repair on electrical systems and control systems.
  • Install and repair equipment including relays, starters, switches, motors, motor control centers (MCCs), switchgear, transformers, power distribution centers, overcurrent protection, heat tracing systems, cable, and cable trays.
  • Determine conduit sizes, pull conductors, make terminations, and install junction boxes.
  • Support retrofits, renovations, equipment replacements, new installations, and other commercial service projects.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman or Master's Electrician license preferred (not required).
  • Trade school education preferred.
  • Foreman-level experience with commercial electrical installations, power distribution, and control wiring.
  • Ability to independently lead projects and supervise electricians and helpers.
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
