Position Summary: 


The Superintendent oversees change-outs, retrofits, and installations for complex projects, supervising the daily work of mechanics, apprentices, and helpers. This role ensures that all services meet contractual agreements and budget objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience, including supervisory experience
  • In-depth knowledge of International Codes, HVAC, and plumbing systems
  • OSHA 30-hour certification, knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
  • Experience handling personnel issues
  • Mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills
  • Proficient with technology (computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect work in progress and completed work for compliance with specifications
  • Supervise and coordinate assigned trade/craft workers
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for installations
  • Review and release shop drawings for timely installation
  • Teach and coach teammates to ensure safety and productivity
  • Monitor manpower and tools, oversee inventory activities
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project budgets
