Commercial HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

As a Commercial HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the frontline of system reliability—keeping equipment running efficiently, preventing costly breakdowns, and delivering top-tier service to commercial clients across the Nashville area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
• Inspect, clean, and service RTUs, split systems, and basic mechanical equipment
• Replace filters, belts, and perform routine component checks
• Identify potential issues and report repair recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
• Support service team with minor troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures
• Experience working with RTUs, split systems, and basic HVAC equipment
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• EPA Certification preferred
