Kodiak is hiring Pipefitters for long-term shop work at a pipe fabrication shop in Northlake, TX. This is steady work through January 2028, with consistent overtime and per diem paid 7 days a week.

Pay and Schedule

• Up to $40/hour (DOE)
• Overtime: $60/hour | Double Time: $80/hour
• $140/day per diem, paid 7 days a week when all scheduled hours are worked
• 5 days a week, about 60 hours a week
• Immediate start, long-term shop work through January 2028

What You’ll Do

• Assemble and fit pipe, fittings, flanges, and other components according to shop drawings and specifications
• Measure, align, and prepare pipe for welding
• Read and interpret shop drawings and piping isometrics
• Fit up carbon steel and stainless steel pipe spools to proper dimensions
• Install and align flanges, elbows, tees, reducers, and other piping components
• Make sure assemblies are plumb, level, and square before they go to the welder
• Check your work against the drawings to make sure everything meets spec
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area

What You Need

• Pipefitting experience, ideally in a pipe fabrication shop
• Ability to read shop drawings and piping isometrics
• Strong layout, measuring, and fit-up skills
• Ability to use tape measures, levels, squares, and standard pipefitting tools
• Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled overtime
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
