The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Project Scheduler in Dallas, TX to support complex construction projects through detailed scheduling, project controls, and schedule performance analysis. This position pays $40–$50 per hour plus $140 per diem and will require frequent travel to Turkey, Texas.
This role is ideal for a scheduler with 3–5 years of direct project scheduling or project controls experience who understands how to build and maintain complex schedules, analyze the critical path, manage resources, and translate field progress into useful information for project leadership. Experience supporting data center construction is especially valuable.
What You'll Do
- Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules tracking daily, weekly, and monthly execution progress.
- Partner with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams to gather progress updates and maintain accurate schedules.
- Analyze critical path activities to identify potential delays, constraints, and schedule risks.
- Recommend corrective actions to project execution teams when schedule issues or conflicts are identified.
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures, milestones, activity logic, and project sequencing.
- Generate, analyze, and present schedule reports and performance metrics to project teams and leadership.
- Incorporate logistical and contractual changes into project schedules as they are released.
- Develop resource-loaded schedules and labor histograms to support manpower planning and project execution.
- Support Earned Value Management tracking and help translate project progress into project controls reporting.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of direct scheduling and/or project controls experience.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
- Experience with Procore.
- Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, Work Breakdown Structures, milestones, schedule logic, and resource loading.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Ability to analyze schedule performance and clearly communicate risks, constraints, and progress to project teams and leadership.
- Ability to frequently travel to Turkey, TX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Data center construction scheduling or project controls experience.
- Experience with mechanical piping and equipment setting.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Liquid Cloud.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and project performance tracking.
