The Opportunity

Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring a Project Controls Program Manager in Dallas, TX to support a confidential client's portfolio of large-scale data center construction projects in West Texas.

This is a senior project controls position for an experienced construction professional who can drive consistent planning, scheduling, cost controls, forecasting, earned value management, and performance reporting across multiple complex projects.

You'll help establish and maintain the project controls structure needed to keep major data center projects aligned on schedule, cost, risk, productivity, and overall performance. The position is based in Dallas with frequent travel to Turkey, Texas.

What You'll Do

  • Lead project controls activities across a portfolio of large-scale data center construction projects.
  • Establish and maintain consistent project controls standards, processes, procedures, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and analysis of integrated project schedules.
  • Review baseline schedules for logic, durations, resource loading, constructability, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor critical and near-critical paths and identify potential delays, risks, and project constraints.
  • Lead schedule risk assessments, mitigation strategies, recovery planning, and schedule acceleration efforts.
  • Conduct schedule health assessments and DCMA 14-point metric reviews.
  • Monitor project budgets, commitments, actual costs, accruals, cash flow, forecasts, EAC, and ETC.
  • Analyze cost and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support earned value management, productivity analysis, change management, and project performance measurement.
  • Improve the accuracy and consistency of project forecasting and executive-level reporting.
  • Collaborate with construction, project management, engineering, procurement, and other project stakeholders to improve execution and project outcomes.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of construction project controls experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience supporting data center, semiconductor, industrial, energy, manufacturing, or petrochemical construction projects.
  • Experience managing project controls across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience supporting capital construction projects valued at $100 million or more.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, forecasting, earned value management, and project performance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Power BI/Liquid Cloud, and Procore.
  • Ability to analyze complex project data and turn it into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively with project leadership and cross-functional construction teams.
