Assistant Civil Construction Manager

We Are Recruiting for an Assistant Civil Construction Manager | Texas

We are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Civil Construction Manager to support field operations on a large-scale construction project in Texas.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on heavy civil construction professional looking to take the next step in project and field leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct daily site walks and track productivity and schedule progress
• Assist with quality control inspections and ensure subcontractor work meets specifications
• Coordinate with inspectors, contractors, crews, and multiple disciplines
• Support crew mobilization and subcontractor scheduling
• Enforce OSHA and project safety requirements
• Participate in safety meetings and site inspections
• Monitor labor, material, and equipment costs
• Maintain project documentation and support field reporting
• Help identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule

What We’re Looking For:

• 4–7 years of heavy civil construction experience
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects
• Background in utilities, concrete, foundations, pile construction, grading, highways, or high-tech infrastructure
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Knowledge of civil construction standards and specifications
• Experience with Trimble ProjectSight, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or MS Office is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• Heavy civil supervisory or field leadership experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
