Refrigeration Technician

📍 Location: Raleigh, NC

💲 Pay Range: $30.00–$45.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our growing service team in the Carolinas. This full-time position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems in grocery stores, restaurants, and other facilities. Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems such as:
  • Rack Refrigeration
  • Walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Display cases
  • Ice machines and prep tables
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical refrigeration issues
• Maintain refrigeration controls and system performance
• Complete preventative maintenance and service documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety policies
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Work independently in the field with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Universal EPA Certification required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration.
• Experience with rack refrigeration in grocery stores.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and communicate clearly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
