Fab Shop MIG Rollout Welders | Per Diem | Northlake, TX (Dallas Area)

Proven Construction Pros: Kodiak is hiring MIG Rollout Welders for a long-term fabrication shop project in the Dallas area. You’ll be welding pipe and fittings on rollers as part of the shop’s fabrication process, with steady work running from November 2026 into early 2028, 60 hours a week, and per diem for qualified travelers.

Job Details

Pay: $40/hour

Overtime: $60/hour | Double time: $80/hour

Per diem: $140/day, paid 7 days a week when all scheduled hours are worked

Schedule: 6 days/week, 60 hours/week

Start date: November 2, 2026

Duration: Through February 2028 (15+ months)

Location: Dallas Fab Shop, 12001 Harmonson Road, Northlake, TX 76247

Weld test required

Local and traveling welders are welcome to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a MIG welding machine to weld and roll pipe and fittings during fabrication
• Set up your welding equipment and dial in the right weld settings for each job
• Follow weld procedures and project specifications on every joint
• Read drawings and weld symbols to know what each spool needs
• Make sure finished welds meet quality standards before they move on
• Work alongside pipefitters to keep spools moving through the shop on schedule
• Keep a safe, clean, and organized work area

What You Need

• MIG welding experience on pipe, rollout or roll welding experience strongly preferred
• Fab shop experience preferred
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Ability to set up and adjust MIG equipment on your own
• Ability to follow weld procedures and read weld symbols
• Reliable attendance and ability to work a 6-day, 60-hour schedule
