Position Overview


Our client, a leading industrial construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical LOTO Leader / Energy Marshal to support large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects in Fort Wayne, Indiana.


This critical role oversees Lockout/Tagout, hazardous energy control, electrical safety, system isolation, energization, commissioning, startup, and integrated systems testing. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical construction, commissioning, industrial operations, or mission-critical experience, along with proven leadership in LOTO and hazardous energy control programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and enforce the project’s Lockout/Tagout and hazardous energy control program.
  • Develop, review, and coordinate energy isolation plans for electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Support commissioning, startup, integrated systems testing, and phased building turnover.
  • Coordinate planned energizations and verify equipment readiness, testing, and documentation.
  • Review switching procedures, electrical one-line diagrams, commissioning documentation, and energized work permits.
  • Conduct field audits, maintain energization logs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E requirements.
  • Partner with project management, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and client representatives during critical energization events.
  • Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions exist.

What We’re Looking For


Qualified candidates should have 10+ years of electrical construction, commissioning, industrial operations, or mission-critical experience.


Candidates should have 5+ years of experience leading Lockout/Tagout or hazardous energy control programs.


Experience with hyperscale data centers, industrial EPC, semiconductor, petrochemical, power generation, or other complex industrial facilities is strongly preferred.


Candidates should have a strong understanding of medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical distribution and the ability to interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, P&IDs, switching plans, and commissioning documentation.


OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, and Authorized Lockout/Tagout training are required.
