Electrical Coordinator – Data Center Construction

Location: Lubbock, TX

Compensation: $35–$55/hour (DOE)

Duration: 18-Month Project

Schedule: 13 Days On / 1 Day Off | 6 x 12-Hour Days

Join a Major Mission Critical Data Center Project

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Coordinator to support a large-scale Data Center / Mission Critical construction project in Lubbock, Texas. This role serves as a key link between engineering, procurement, construction management, commissioning, and field execution teams to ensure electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily electrical construction activities and field execution

Support planning, scheduling, work packaging, procurement, and material tracking

Review electrical drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and craft labor resources

Monitor installation productivity and manpower requirements

Support QA/QC inspections and turnover documentation

Assist with commissioning, startup, and systems readiness activities

Identify schedule risks and help develop mitigation strategies

Participate in look-ahead planning and coordination meetings

Promote and support project safety initiatives and compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience
  • Experience supporting Data Center, Industrial, Power, or EPC projects
  • Knowledge of:
    • Medium Voltage (MV) systems
    • Switchgear
    • Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
    • UPS systems
    • Generators
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Data Center or Mission Critical project experience
  • Journeyman Electrician background
  • Experience with:
    • Procore
    • Bluebeam
    • Primavera P6
