QA/QC Project Apprentice – Mechanical Construction

• Pay | $20 - $30 Per Hour

We’re seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Project Apprentice to support quality assurance and control efforts on commercial mechanical construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring installations meet design intent, safety standards, and client expectations.

What You’ll Do:

• Review project specifications and quality requirements
• Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
• Collect and communicate quality data between field and office teams
• Identify and resolve quality issues and compliance gaps
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and reporting
• Conduct audits and support continuous improvement efforts
• Coordinate with quality teams, commissioning agents, and project stakeholders

What You Bring:

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction
• Experience with testing, balancing, and commissioning processes
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read construction documents and specifications
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated with a professional, positive attitude

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree
• Experience on large-scale projects ($10M+)
