About the Opportunity

If you’ve led work in the field and built a reputation for doing things right, this is your next step.

We are seeking a QA/QC Lead Project Coordinator to drive quality across large-scale commercial mechanical and plumbing projects. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Foreman or QA/QC professional ready to expand their impact beyond the field and influence entire project outcomes.

You’ll serve as the go-to quality leader, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operating to the highest standards—while collaborating closely with project teams, clients, and commissioning partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Lead QA/QC processes across projects up to $25M+
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, startup, and commissioning activities
  • Partner with testing & balancing teams to validate system performance
  • Train field crews on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage QA/QC documentation, audits, and compliance tracking
  • Communicate with project teams, clients, and inspectors on quality issues
  • Identify trends and drive continuous improvement in field execution

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial mechanical or plumbing construction
  • Proven experience leading teams or direct reports
  • Strong background in healthcare, medical gas, institutional, or military projects
  • Experience working with testing, balancing, and commissioning teams
  • Deep understanding of how systems are installed and operate in the field
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on leader willing to engage both in the field and in coordination efforts

What We Offer

  • Hybrid role (field + office exposure)
  • Competitive hourly pay ($25–$35+/hr DOE)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Leadership development and long-term career growth
  • Annual incentive/bonus program
  • Opportunity to work on large, complex commercial projects

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Step up from field leadership into a project-wide quality leadership role
  • Influence outcomes on high-value, complex builds
  • Work closely with leadership, clients, and technical teams
  • Play a key role in ensuring projects are built right—from start to finish

  • Apply today to take the next step in your career and lead quality on impactful mechanical construction projects.
