Role Overview

The Controls Engineer will lead the design, programming, and implementation of Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC) for HVAC applications from concept through commissioning.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design BAS/DDC systems, including sequences of operation and architecture
  • Develop control drawings, wiring diagrams, and submittals
  • Program controllers and graphics (Niagara, EcoStruxure, or similar)
  • Support or lead startup, commissioning, and system validation
  • Troubleshoot and optimize system performance
  • Provide technical guidance to field teams
  • Maintain accurate project documentation

A self-driven engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and owning projects from start to finish.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years in building automation or HVAC controls
  • Experience with BAS/DDC system design and implementation
  • Strong HVAC systems knowledge (RTUs, VAVs, AHUs)
  • Familiarity with Niagara, EcoStruxure, or similar
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio and Microsoft Office
