Position Summary

Our client is seeking a proven technology transformation leader to guide the organization through the finalization and execution of its 3-Year Technology Roadmap. Following a comprehensive technology assessment, the organization is entering a decisive modernization phase focused on transforming business systems and scalable digital infrastructure to better serve teammates and customers.

This role will partner closely with executive leadership to prioritize, sequence, and resource high-impact initiatives while maintaining system reliability and building scalable architecture. The Director will lead a team, recruit additional talent as needed, and work hands-on with functional and operational leaders to ensure practical, integrated, and business-aligned solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (A Day in the Life)

  • Finalize and execute the Technology Transformation roadmap with clearly defined business outcomes
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all current systems, applications, and integrations across the organization
  • Drive IT process improvement initiatives to standardize workflows, strengthen governance, and increase operational efficiency
  • Prioritize, sequence, and resource initiatives based on business impact and operational readiness
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and scalable enterprise architecture throughout implementation
  • Configure and implement Field Service Mobile solutions integrated with ERP systems
  • Lead replacement of manual scheduling systems supporting the full project lifecycle
  • Partner with CSUSA Data Services to implement data lake capabilities and build operational visualization tools and dashboards
  • Oversee Workday (HRIS) module expansion and ERP integration
  • Lead ERP strategy, evaluation (if applicable), selection, implementation, integration, and optimization
  • Lead, develop, and scale the internal technology transformation team; recruit and augment talent as needed
  • Manage vendor relationships, implementation partners, budgets, and governance frameworks
  • Serve as the primary liaison with CSUSA IT Infrastructure, Security, and Data Services teams to leverage enterprise best practices
  • Meet regularly with executive leadership to align on roadmap sequencing and resource planning
  • Translate operational pain points into scalable, sustainable system solutions

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10–15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Direct leadership of at least one full-cycle ERP implementation (evaluation through deployment)
  • Demonstrated experience in IT process improvement and enterprise systems integration
  • Experience leading and scaling technical teams
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, integrations, and data governance
  • Exceptional executive-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience in construction, specialty contracting, manufacturing, or field-service-intensive environments
  • Experience working within multi-entity enterprises
