BAS Remote Support Specialist
Department: BAS
Reports To: BAS Operations Manager
Location: Remote
Pay: $70K-$80K DOE

Role Overview
The BAS Remote Support Specialist provides high-level remote technical support for building automation systems. This role partners with field teams, vendors, and customers to troubleshoot systems, guide commissioning efforts, and ensure seamless documentation and project turnover.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist BAS installation teams, vendors, and customers with technical information and support.
- Remotely train field teams on how to adjust BAS parameters and document commissioning information.
- Verify completeness of EMS project, including commissioning reports, picture documentation, file update, and turn over to BAS PM.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external clients.
Success Metrics
- Accurate and timely completion of commissioning documentation.
- Effective remote troubleshooting that reduces field escalations.
- Complete and organized EMS project turnover to BAS PM.
- High responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
Education and Experience
• Experience in building automation hardware and software troubleshooting
• Niagara N4 certified preferred
• Working hours are flexible with rotating weekends as needed.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and with little direction in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of BAS, Energy Management, HVAC, and Lighting methodologies
• Excellent ability to assist in troubleshooting and installing BAS equipment.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written communications.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude and work ethic
• Trustworthiness and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
