Job Description
Account Executive – Security & Building Automation (Cleveland, OH)
We’re hiring a driven Account Executive to grow market share across Cleveland and surrounding areas. This role focuses on selling security systems, building automation, and integrated solutions for new construction and renovation projects.
What You’ll Own:
- Develop and close new business with end users, building owners, electrical contractors, general contractors, and consulting engineers.
- Drive retrofit and system expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Lead with a consultative sales approach—identify client needs, position value, and close with confidence.
- Generate accurate estimates, proposals, and cost analyses.
- Partner with consultants on preliminary design and technical specifications.
- Maintain a disciplined sales funnel and activity tracking within CRM.
- Build and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with revenue and profitability targets.
What You Bring:
- Prior sales experience with IP video security systems (e.g., Avigilon, Axis, Milestone, Pelco or similar platforms).
- Strong communication and presentation skills with executive-level presence.
- Proven ability to prospect, cold call, negotiate, and close complex deals.
- Ability to navigate all levels of an organization—from facilities teams to C-suite.
- Engineering background (Electrical Engineering preferred) or equivalent technical expertise.
