Experienced HVAC/R Service Technician

Location: Zeeland, MI

$30 - $50ph (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial, and industrial settings. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely in compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing system malfunctions, replacing defective parts, calibrating controls, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should have a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles, be able to read technical diagrams, and possess EPA certification. Previous experience in HVAC/R service work is required, along with a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

         Associates degree or equivalent HVAC certificate.

         Strong brazing, soldering, and piping skills.

         Industry certifications.

         Experience with: BAS, VFD, VRF, Heat Pump systems.

         Steam and hydronic systems. (State CSD-1 testing)

         Circulation pumps of various types and sizes.

Work Environment and Schedule

         Full-time position servicing commercial and industrial facilities.

         Exposure to mechanical rooms, rooftops production floors, and outdoor environments. 

         Occasional overtime and rotating on-call work required.
