Job Description
Workday Learning Analyst (Fully Remote)
Salary: $115,000–$125,000
Location: Fully Remote (U.S. based)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Work Authorization: U.S. work authorization required. No visa sponsorship available.
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Workday Learning Analyst to own, optimize, and evolve their Workday Learning ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of HR, Talent Development, IT, and the business, serving as the subject matter expert responsible for delivering scalable, compliant, and user-friendly learning solutions.
From implementation through ongoing optimization, this analyst ensures learning programs are configured correctly, reporting is reliable, integrations run smoothly, and stakeholders feel supported. If you enjoy building systems that actually get used and trusted, this role has your name on it.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Learning Implementation & Deployment
- Lead or support full-cycle Workday Learning implementations including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post–go-live support
- Partner with internal HR, Talent Development, IT teams, and external implementation partners
- Configure learning catalogs, courses, programs, playlists, campaigns, and certifications
- Support data migration, validation, and historical learning records
- Develop test scripts, support UAT, and resolve system defects
- Create configuration documentation, process flows, and implementation artifacts
Learning Administration & Configuration
- Maintain and enhance learning assignments, prerequisites, equivalencies, renewals, and compliance rules
- Configure security roles, domains, and business processes related to Learning
- Manage integrations with third-party content providers such as LinkedIn Learning, OpenSesame, and other LMS platforms
- Support instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning experiences
Business Partnership & Support
- Act as the Workday Learning SME for HR, Talent, Compliance, and business stakeholders
- Translate business needs into scalable Workday Learning solutions
- Support change management, communications, and end-user enablement for new functionality
Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards tracking learning completion, certifications, and compliance
- Support audits by delivering accurate training records and documentation
System Maintenance & Optimization
- Participate in Workday biannual releases by assessing impacts, testing new features, and recommending enhancements
- Troubleshoot issues, ensure data integrity, and continuously improve the learner experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6+ years of hands-on Workday Learning experience
- At least one full-cycle Workday Learning implementation
- Strong experience with configuration, security, business processes, and reporting
- Experience supporting UAT, data migration, and go-live activities
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Pro Certification (Learning)
- Experience in multi-entity or regulated environments
- Experience with Workday HCM, Talent, or Reporting modules
- Background working with implementation partners or consulting firms
