Location: High Point, NC

Compensation: $90,000–$95,000 base salary + uncapped commission

Position Summary

Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist in High Point, NC, to lead and develop a recruiting team focused on direct hire construction placements.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced recruiter who can drive team performance while managing key searches. You’ll coach recruiters, establish clear expectations, and build strong talent pipelines for professional and technical construction roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support recruiters specializing in direct hire construction placements.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for Superintendents, Project Managers, Engineers, BIM professionals, and related positions.
• Establish performance expectations, track recruiting metrics, and help the team achieve hiring goals.
• Partner with leadership to align recruiting priorities with client needs and business growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with construction leadership and technical talent.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing additional recruiters.
• Improve recruiting processes to strengthen consistency, candidate quality, and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on direct hire construction or architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) roles.
• Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing recruiters.
• A strong track record of filling Superintendent, Project Manager, Engineer, or similar positions.
• Demonstrated ability to drive team performance and meet hiring goals.
• Strong sourcing, candidate engagement, closing, and pipeline development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization.
