Kodiak Staffing is seeking Mechanical Project Managers for contract, traveling assignments on large-scale data center projects. Bring your experience to mission-critical construction work where strong project leadership keeps complex jobs moving.

Richmond, VA area | Travel required | Per diem available

$50-75/hr DOE

You’ll be responsible for

• Managing mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout
• Coordinating equipment, materials, subcontractors, purchasing, and schedules
• Reviewing submittals, handling RFIs, and assessing scope impacts
• Negotiating and pricing change orders
• Keeping field leaders, fabrication, startup, and virtual construction teams informed
• Maintaining strong communication with owners, general contractors, engineers, and project partners

We’re looking for

• Mechanical project management experience
• A history of delivering large data center projects
• Experience managing projects lasting a year or more
• Strong cost forecasting, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Excel and project management software
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Engineering Management, or equivalent experience
