You’ll guide the on-site safety team, partner with project and field leaders, and help ensure work meets company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer and General Contractor (GC) expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop safety personnel assigned to your projects or campus.
  • Maintain a strong field presence and oversee daily work, inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Support pre-task planning and reviews of high-risk work.
  • Stop work when you identify unsafe conditions or behaviors, then help ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Coordinate safety coverage to meet workforce levels and project needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and customer and GC requirements.
  • Maintain accurate safety records, permits, reports, and other required documentation.
  • Lead the initial response to injuries, near misses, vehicle incidents, and property damage.
  • Direct preliminary investigations, support root cause analysis, and track corrective actions through completion.
  • Serve as the primary safety contact on your assigned projects and provide regular updates to the Safety Manager.
  • Work closely with project management and field supervision to keep safety aligned with project operations.

What Helps You Succeed

You bring a strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and a commitment to consistent field engagement. You hold safety teams accountable, communicate clearly, and approach safety concerns with professionalism, integrity, and decisiveness.
