Assistant Construction Quality Manager

We Are Recruiting: Assistant Construction Quality Manager | Taylor, TX

We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Construction Quality Manager to support a major, large-scale construction project in Taylor, Texas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction quality professional with experience supporting mega projects, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, or other complex industrial construction environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the development and implementation of project-specific Quality Plans, procedures, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)

• Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) submitted by contractors and supply partners

• Coordinate inspections with contractors, supply partners, and third-party inspectors

• Conduct contractor and supply-partner quality audits

• Manage and track NCRs, punch lists, observations, and corrective actions through closure

• Review material submittals for compliance with project specifications and client requirements

• Support QA/QC KPI reporting, trend analysis, and monthly quality reports

• Coordinate quality-control and mitigation plans with project partners

• Maintain quality documentation and records for project special processes

What We’re Looking For:

• 6–10 years of professional construction experience

• Minimum 3 years of specialized QA/QC experience

• 3+ years of experience working for a construction company

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field

• Experience with architectural quality inspection and testing on mega projects strongly preferred

• Experience inspecting reinforced concrete (RC), precast, structural steel, insulated metal panels, coatings, and related architectural scopes

• Understanding of municipal inspection processes and regulations

• Familiarity with QMS and Quality Control procedures

• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Word; Bluebeam preferred

• Ability to travel as needed for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and vendor inspections

• English required; Spanish or Korean bilingual skills are a plus
