Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly organized Building Automation Systems (BAS) Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of BAS projects from turnover through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving pieces, building strong customer relationships, and keeping projects on track.

This role focuses heavily on project coordination, communication, scheduling, and follow-through, working closely with our client’s Engineering, Installation, Service, and Sales teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate multiple BAS projects from turnover through completion
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for customers throughout project execution
  • Schedule and coordinate customer meetings, site access, commissioning activities, training, and project closeout
  • Partner with Engineering, Service, and Installation teams to ensure project milestones stay on track
  • Track project schedules, action items, meeting notes, and follow-up activities
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs, commitments, and potential project risks
  • Support project turnover, commissioning, owner training, and handoff to the service team

What We're Looking For

  • Project coordination, project management, or operations experience in BAS, controls, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, construction, or a related industry
  • Understanding of building automation systems, controls, or HVAC systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating across customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and other project tracking tools
