Journeyman / Foreman Pipefitter–Welder

Pay Range: $35–$52/hr

Location: Cincinnati, OH (with travel to projects as needed)

Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Journeyman- or Foreman-level Pipefitters/Welders based in the Cincinnati area for long-term commercial and industrial mechanical projects. Ideal candidates bring strong trade expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or lead crews in the field.

Job Duties

• Perform pipefitting, layout, prep, and installation on commercial/industrial systems
• Execute welding using SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, or FCAW
• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical plans
• Install supports, valves, pumps, and mechanical components
• Assist with or lead hydrostatic/pneumatic testing
• Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA and site-specific requirements
• Foreman-level candidates will plan daily work, direct crews, and coordinate with leadership

Requirements

• 5+ years of pipefitting and welding experience
• Ability to pass weld tests (if required)
• Multi-process welding proficiency
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read drawings
• Leadership experience preferred for Foreman roles

Pay & Schedule

• $35–$52/hr, based on experience and certifications
• Full-time; overtime and project-based travel may be required
