Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI

Pay: $22–$26/hour

Openings: 3

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00am–2:30pm

Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt


Pneumatic Assembler I

Job Summary

The Pneumatic Assembler I is responsible for pneumatic plumbing/piping, assembling, testing, completing, and installing paper converting machinery. This role ensures accurate assembly and installation of pneumatic, hydraulic, and related systems according to specifications.


Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Read and follow entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and related instructions to assemble parts and equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Install magnehelic components and transducers with associated plumbing.
  • Assemble and install cable, wire, and pneumatic tubing/hose management devices, including cable tray, conduit, and wireway.
  • Assemble and install pneumatic and hydraulic control boxes.
  • Install, route, and terminate pneumatic, hydraulic, grease, and oiler tubing/hoses on equipment.
  • Sub-assemble pneumatic, hydraulic, grease, and oiler components.
  • Operate material-handling equipment.
  • Travel to client locations for on-site pneumatic equipment assembly (company-paid travel).
  • Utilize overhead cranes and proper rigging procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Occasional Responsibilities

  • Participate in department clean-up and improvement projects.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and perform metric conversions.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics, electrical code manuals, and other manufacturing instructions preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others (including in person) to proactively develop solutions.

Physical Requirements

Protective Clothing Required

Employees must utilize all necessary PPE—including safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, and hearing protection—when performing job duties.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally: Walk, sit, operate machinery using feet, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach above shoulders; lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly: Talk, listen, move from place to place; lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., during panel installations).
  • Frequently: Use hands to finger, handle, or touch components.
  • Vision Requirements: Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Tools & Equipment Utilized

Hand tools, electric and pneumatic power tools, electrical testing equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, computers and printers, machine operating software, labeling software, spreadsheets, phones, and copy machines.


Work Environment

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
  • Production environment with loud to very loud noise levels—hearing protection required.
  • Occasional business travel required.
