Contract Coordinator

Role & Responsibility
- Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and contract databases.
- Monitor and follow up on the progress of legal proceedings and dispute-related matters.
- Draft concise internal reports and summaries of ongoing cases.
- Assist in preparing internal reports and case documentation.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external law firms.
- Identify and summarize key risks, deadlines, and obligations with accuracy and clarity.
- Analyze terms and conditions in various contracts related to construction.
- Review bidding documents during the procurement process.
- Support the legal and project teams in process improvement and strategic planning related to construction law and contract management.
Qualification
- A proactive mindset with a strong desire for career growth in contract management and the construction business sector.
- The ability to quickly understand and adapt to new fields, processes, and organizational cultures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking ability with sound prioritization and minimal supervision required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in legal or contract support, particularly within construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Familiarity with Texas construction laws, compliance standards, and dispute resolution processes is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Notes / Requirements
Preferred Qualification:
- Paralegal Certification or Certified Litigation Support Professional (CLSP).
- 5 years of experience in construction, civil litigation, or insurance claims.
- AAA (American Arbitration Association) arbitration experience.
- Prior experience working within a large organization or on major projects.
- Familiarity with contracts issued by the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Compensation
This position is Salary Non-Exempt and is DOE — paid like hourly, and you will receive overtime pay (1.5× the hourly rate) for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
