About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Senior Operations Manager to lead and optimize service delivery for our HVAC, electrical, and plumbing divisions in the Richmond, VA region. In this leadership role, you’ll manage a high-performing field and support team while ensuring safety, profitability, and exceptional customer service. This is a key operational role with direct impact on business outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, dispatchers, and support personnel
• Oversee daily service operations across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
• Monitor team performance, project timelines, and financial goals
• Maintain strong client relationships and resolve issues professionally
• Collaborate on service agreements, repairs, renewals, and quoting
• Manage departmental budget, vehicles, tools, and manpower
• Support accounting in billing and collections efforts
• Drive continuous process improvement and safety compliance
• Promote service offerings and support overall business growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of service operations leadership in mechanical, building services, or related trades
• Strong technical background in HVAC; working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
• Proven success in managing teams, budgets, and customer relationships
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred – or 10+ years of industry experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
