About the Role:

We’re seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our commercial mechanical team in the Grand Rapids area. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings — working closely with HVAC and piping crews to deliver high-quality installations that meet all code requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
• Install piping, valves, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing components
• Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures
• Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades for scheduling and materials
• Accurately complete daily timesheets, material logs, and as-builts

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Journeyman Plumber License
• 3–5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience
• Proficient in copper, PVC/CPVC, cast iron, soldering, and brazing
• Knowledge of backflow systems, grease traps, commercial water heaters
• Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined or wet spaces
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Must pass drug screen and background check

Working Conditions:

• Field-based role throughout Grand Rapids and surrounding areas
• Work may involve wet environments, elevated workspaces, and confined areas
• Must adhere to all company and jobsite safety policies
