Job Description
Civil Structural Engineering Inspector
We are seeking an Architectural QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control activities for large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for implementing project-specific quality plans, conducting inspections, coordinating with supply partners, and ensuring compliance with specifications and client requirements. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and implement project quality plans and procedures.
- Assist the Project Quality Manager (PQM) in maintaining QA/QC documentation and records.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) from supply partners before work begins.
- Conduct and coordinate inspections with supply partners and third-party agencies.
- Review material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
- Support internal and external quality audits, identify non-conformances, and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in quality reporting.
- Manage documentation and calibration tracking for laboratory and testing equipment.
- Provide quality-related training and support for project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience (2 years in construction, 3 years in quality control).
- Experience with architectural quality inspection and testing for large or mega projects.
- Strong understanding of city inspection processes and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.
- English required; bilingual in Spanish or Korean preferred.
