Safety Coordinator

Company: Samsung E&C America, Inc. Location: Taylor, Texas Job Title: Safety Coordinator Job Description: Opportunity to work with a Korean based Construction Company on various projects at Samsung Austin Semiconductor Plant Renovation & expansion. 1. Communicate with team members to coordinate daily work and record actions toward contractor companies 2. Recording daily work activities to keep track of project schedule. 3. Organize and manage multiple project files and documents up to date daily. 4. Conduct safety orientation for new contractors’ employees 5. Prepare for safety event and safety training 6. Prepare for weekly safety meeting document 7. Record all the accidents and analyze injury and accident trends 8. Record all safety meetings 9. New contractor employee badging 10. Safety material purchase request 11. Provide personal protective equipment to team members.

Qualifications: - Experience in relevant construction experience is preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred. - Excellent interpersonal, visual, written and verbal communication skills. - Working knowledge of MS Office - Excellent organization skills - Bilingual (English, Spanish) - Demonstrated ability to perform individually and as a member of project teams. - OSHA Certification is preferred
