About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will prepare accurate and competitive project bids, review designs, analyze costs, and collaborate with clients, vendors, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors. Your work will directly support the success of our electrical projects by ensuring estimates are thorough, timely, and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including labor, materials, and timelines.
• Evaluate project risks, potential delays, and material waste, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Review building plans to determine electrical needs and system requirements.
• Collaborate with clients on layouts, wiring, and equipment sizing.
• Source and negotiate supplier costs to secure competitive pricing.
• Deliver accurate project bids on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to read and analyze blueprints, material costs, and project timelines.
• Strong math and analytical skills to produce precise, profitable estimates.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with contractors, architects, and clients.
• Detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
