Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems, including:
- Rooftop units (RTUs)
- Chillers and boilers
- CRAC units and refrigeration systems
- VAV/VVT and control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations
- Work independently with minimal supervision in the field
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal teams
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians as needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting and servicing complex systems
- Proficiency with:
- RTUs, mini splits, boilers, chillers
- Controls and building systems
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
- NATE Certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and varying weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and kneeling
Work Environment
- Commercial job sites and mechanical rooms
- Exposure to high-voltage systems and moving equipment
- Work in loud environments and extreme temperatures
Additional Details
- Full-time position (40+ hours/week guaranteed)
- Limited overnight travel
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
