Journeyman Plumber Grand Rapids, MI $32–$42/hour (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Commercial & Industrial Projects About the Role:We’re seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our commercial mechanical team in the Grand Rapids area. In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings — working closely with HVAC and piping crews to deliver high-quality installations that meet all code requirements. Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawingsInstall piping, valves, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing componentsTroubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, and faulty fixturesConduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systemsEnsure full compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codesCollaborate with supervisors and other trades for scheduling and materialsAccurately complete daily timesheets, material logs, and as-builts Qualifications:Valid Michigan Journeyman Plumber License3–5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experienceProficient in copper, PVC/CPVC, cast iron, soldering, and brazingKnowledge of backflow systems, grease traps, commercial water heatersAble to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined or wet spacesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsMust pass drug screen and background check Working Conditions:Field-based role throughout Grand Rapids and surrounding areasWork may involve wet environments, elevated workspaces, and confined areasMust adhere to all company and jobsite safety policies Grow with Us – Paid In-House Training:Take advantage of paid, hands-on training in our onsite electrical, refrigeration, and hydronics labs.
