Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our HVAC sales team. The BDR will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic prospecting and sales efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC services and solutions, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting

o Identify and target potential clients in commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

o Use cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital tools to create a strong sales pipeline.

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building

o Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers, property managers, contractors, and facility directors.

o Educate clients on HVAC products, services, and energy-efficient solutions.

  • Sales Development

o Schedule meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to move prospects through the sales cycle.

o Collaborate with account managers and project teams to deliver customized proposals.

o Track and report sales activities and pipeline progress in CRM systems.

  • Market Research & Strategy

o Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.

o Assist in the development of targeted sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles; HVAC or construction industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, energy efficiency, or mechanical contracting a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
