We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Safety Compliance Specialist to support safety and risk management programs for an established electrical contractor. This role coordinates compliance documentation, safety training, workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work activities, and reporting.

The ideal candidate takes initiative, follows through on open items, and works effectively with field teams and leadership to address compliance concerns.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain regulatory, audit, project, and electrical-safety records, including NFPA 70E, energized work, lockout/tagout, arc flash, and PPE documentation.
  • Coordinate safety training, credentials, and project orientations; track missing or expiring requirements.
  • Document incidents, support investigations, and track corrective actions and recurring trends.
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work activities.
  • Maintain temporary-worker and subcontractor compliance records and support client, general contractor, and OCIP/CCIP requirements.
  • Track driver requirements, vehicle-safety information, incidents, and corrective training.
  • Maintain accurate records in safety and compliance systems.
  • Prepare management reports, safety communications, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Maintain emergency information and PPE and safety-equipment records.

What You’ll Bring

  • Working knowledge of construction safety and OSHA recordkeeping and compliance principles.
  • Familiarity with electrical-construction safety practices and NFPA 70E.
  • Understanding of workers’ compensation and return-to-work coordination.
  • Strong organization, analytical skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Clear communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in construction safety, compliance, workers’ compensation, risk management, or safety administration. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with HammerTech, QuickBase, Samsara, Workday Learning, or comparable systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint experience.

Travel: Periodic travel to construction projects, company locations, training sessions, and meetings may be required.
