Schedule: Typically 50–60+ hours per week

Experience Required: 4+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience

The Opportunity

KODIAK is seeking experienced Plumbers for large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects.

This role involves full-scope commercial and industrial plumbing installation, from underground utilities through above-ground rough-in, equipment connections, fixture installation, testing, and final completion.

We are looking for plumbers who can read drawings, work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment, and deliver quality installations while coordinating with other trades on complex projects.

What You'll Do

  • Install underground sanitary, storm, domestic water, and fire service piping.
  • Lay out, assemble, and install above-ground domestic water, waste, vent, and related plumbing systems.
  • Install and connect plumbing systems serving mechanical equipment and other facility infrastructure.
  • Read and work from blueprints, specifications, isometric drawings, BIM layouts, and coordinated construction drawings.
  • Install piping systems using materials such as PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, HDPE, carbon steel, stainless steel, and other project-specific materials.
  • Set plumbing fixtures, floor drains, cleanouts, interceptors, and related equipment.
  • Perform pressure testing, leak testing, inspections, and system verification.
  • Coordinate installations with mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and other construction trades.
  • Operate lifts, trenching equipment, and other construction equipment when trained and qualified.
  • Maintain an organized work area and follow all site-specific safety procedures.
  • Complete installations according to project specifications, schedules, plumbing codes, and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience.
  • Experience performing both underground and above-ground plumbing installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and isometric drawings.
  • Strong understanding of applicable plumbing codes, installation practices, and jobsite safety requirements.
  • Ability to properly lay out and install commercial plumbing systems.
  • Ability to work independently while also coordinating effectively with field supervision and other trades.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:

  • Data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
  • Semiconductor or advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Large commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Underground utility installation and layout.
  • Large-bore piping systems.
  • Mechanical equipment connections.
  • Victaulic grooved piping systems.
  • ProPress systems.
  • Fusion-welded piping systems.
  • BIM-coordinated MEP installations.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Perform physically demanding construction work for extended periods.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
  • Work overtime, weekends, and extended schedules based on project requirements.
