Completions Technician — CxAlloy

Support Systems Completion and Commissioning on Data Center Projects

We are hiring an experienced Completions Technician to support systems completion and turnover on a large-scale data center construction project.

This position performs field walkdowns, documents installation progress, manages punch-list items, and supports the turnover of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and related systems using CxAlloy or a comparable completion-management platform.

What You Will Do

• Perform field walkdowns of mechanical, electrical, controls, and related systems
• Verify installation status against drawings, specifications, and turnover requirements
• Create, update, and close out checksheets, punch lists, and turnover packages in CxAlloy
• Tag and organize equipment, panels, loops, and other system components
• Coordinate with craft supervision, QA/QC, construction management, and commissioning teams
• Support Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, and Ready for Startup milestones
• Identify completion gaps, deficiencies, and outstanding punch-list items
• Assist with red-line markups and updates reflecting as-built conditions
• Maintain accurate photographic and written documentation for turnover packages
• Participate in completion and commissioning walkdowns with clients, contractors, and commissioning agents
• Communicate progress, blockers, and outstanding items to the Completions Lead or Commissioning Manager
• Follow all site safety requirements, including PPE, fall protection, confined-space procedures, and lockout/tagout

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of experience supporting construction, systems completion, turnover, or commissioning activities
• Experience in industrial, oil and gas, power generation, data center, or similar construction environments
• Working knowledge of mechanical completion, punch lists, checksheets, walkdowns, and turnover packages
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, equipment drawings, and construction documents
• Proficiency with tablets, mobile devices, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass applicable background-check and drug-screening requirements
• Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, work at elevated heights, and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with CxAlloy, FacilityGrid, Smart Completions, e-Builder, or a similar completion-management platform
• Previous hyperscale or mission-critical data center experience
• Electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, controls, or skilled-trade background
• Familiarity with Integrated Systems Testing or Level 3–5 commissioning processes
• Experience documenting system walkdowns and resolving punch-list items
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Technical or trade certification
