Our client, a well-established commercial and industrial mechanical contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What You'll Do
- Lead commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from award through final completion.
- Serve as the Bid Captain during estimating, turnover, and project startup.
- Participate in estimate reviews and provide constructability recommendations.
- Identify prefabrication opportunities and project efficiencies.
- Lead internal bid review meetings to ensure complete and accurate project estimates.
- Develop and execute project plans for both office and field operations.
- Prepare contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Manage project schedules, schedule of values, budgets, and financial performance.
- Coordinate preconstruction planning and participate in project meetings.
- Prepare and negotiate change orders.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Prepare monthly owner pay applications and manage project billings.
- Monitor project costs, collections, retainage, and profitability.
- Select and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Review and approve invoices for labor, materials, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and procurement activities.
- Oversee project quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support project team development.
What You Bring
- 8-10 years of Project Management experience in commercial or industrial construction.
- Experience managing mechanical construction projects involving HVAC, piping, plumbing, or industrial systems.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, estimating, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience with Design-Build mechanical construction projects.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based with regular visits to active commercial and industrial construction sites.
Candidates should be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and outdoor weather. The role requires standing, walking, climbing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds while navigating active jobsites.
