Schedule: 13 Days On / 1 Day Off | 6 x 12-Hour Days

Data Center Construction

We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Engineer to support one of the largest Data Center construction projects in the country. This position will serve as a key technical resource supporting construction, commissioning, project management, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings extensive electrical construction experience, strong field execution knowledge, and a proven ability to resolve technical challenges while driving schedule, quality, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical field support to project management and construction teams

Review IFC drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables

Resolve design conflicts, constructability issues, and field installation challenges

Develop field sketches and support engineering coordination efforts

Manage and maintain as-built documentation and turnover packages

Support work package development and field execution planning

Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, subcontractors, and construction leadership

 Track installation quantities, productivity, and project progress

Support inspections, commissioning activities, and startup readiness

Assist with change management and field reporting processes

Qualifications

10+ years of electrical construction experience

Experience supporting Data Center, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Power Generation, or Mission Critical projects

Strong knowledge of electrical installation methods and field execution

Experience managing RFIs, submittals, work packages, and turnover documentation

Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Experience with Bluebeam

Preferred Qualifications

Data Center construction experience

BIM and/or Procore experience

Electrical Engineering degree

E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) project experience

Commissioning and startup support experience
