HVAC Service Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $25.00–$32.00/hour (DOE)

Role Overview
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems across client sites while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and split systems.
- Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and pressure gauges to identify electrical and mechanical failures.
- Installation: Set up new HVAC/R units, including ductwork, piping, and wiring, according to blueprints and technical specifications.
- Compliance: Handle and recover refrigerants in accordance with EPA Section 608 regulations.
- Customer Service: Communicate technical issues and repair options clearly to facility managers and business owners.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of work, parts, and performance metrics in a CMMS.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED. (Trade School preferred)
- 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
- EPA Universal Certification. (required)
- Experience with large commercial systems and controls preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and participate in on-call rotation.
