Project Manager (Mechanical Construction)

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay Range: $90,000 – $120,000 annually (DOE)

Role Overview

The Mechanical Project Manager leads projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage HVAC/plumbing projects from planning to completion.
  • Serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field teams.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement.
  • Review change orders, invoices, and project financials.
  • Ensure compliance with specs, contracts, and safety standards.
  • Track progress and provide regular updates.

Who You Are

A proactive, detail-oriented leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage multiple projects while building strong relationships.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years in mechanical construction project management
  • HVAC, piping, or plumbing experience required
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and construction processes
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits
