Pay Range: $25.00–$32.00/hour (DOE)

Role Overview

The HVAC Service Technician maintains, diagnoses, and repairs commercial HVAC systems across client sites, combining technical expertise with strong customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Review work orders and coordinate daily with dispatch.
• Travel to client sites to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and split systems.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools and repair or replace components.
• Service large-scale systems (DX up to 25 tons, water-cooled units, heat pumps).
• Conduct maintenance tasks (cleaning coils, replacing belts, system start-ups).
• Communicate system status and recommendations to clients.
• Accurately document work, parts, and performance in CMMS.

• High first-time fix rate and reduced callbacks.
• Strong system uptime and PM completion rates.
• Positive customer satisfaction and retention.
• Accurate, timely documentation.
• Compliance with safety and EPA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Trade School preferred).
• 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Experience with large systems and controls (DDC, pneumatic, electronic) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work independently and participate in on-call rotation.
