Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber with equipment operation experience to join their commercial construction team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys underground plumbing work and operating heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, track hoes, and backhoes. You’ll play a key part in the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems across multiple large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems, including water, sewer, and drainage lines.
  • Perform underground plumbing layout, excavation, and installation.
  • Operate excavators, skid steers, track hoes, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and jobsite cleanliness.
  • Communicate effectively with field supervisors, team members, and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial plumbing experience (journeyman certification not required).
  • Proficient in operating excavation equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • OSHA safety awareness preferred.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $25.00–$32.00/hour based on experience
